This is intended to be my blog of what happens during my tour of duty in Cold Lake, Alberta, Canada. I am working here for a few weeks and I plan to use this blog to chronicle my adventures and to post the photos that prove that I am indeed working up here.
This is me at one of our test sites. It is from my 3rd day here, so it is a little out of order for the blog, but I wanted to publish it with this welcome so ya'll can see I haven't (yet) frozen to death. The snow covered object behind me on my left is a pyramid and I'll post about them and other range peculiarities later. Also behind me, on the horizon is the frozen river that feeds Marie Lake which is one of the many lakes in this area. For now I'll sign off with a promise to post more tomorrow (my 1 day per week off).

Update dude! Get High tech. You don't have Google Map to point out the exact spot, nor lat/lon for specific geocaching location. How can I tell where you are?
Where's Canada anyway?
A proud Georgian
Where's Canda? Is it near Portland?
Give me a google map location, or lat/lon for my GPS receiver. Don't forget "The Thing" was found somewhere up there. In the frozen snow. In Canada. By a scientist. What's the dark shape behind ya?
Just wondering.
