CJXK, K-Rock, is the station we listen to the most here in Cold Lake. The studios are right across from the Hotel in a little strip mall. You can see in at night and watch the DJ leaning toward the microphone and staring into space.Why it reminds me of when I was 17 and a DJ for WQMV, FM 98.7 in Vicksburg, MS. But I out grew that.

That comment reminds me about being a radio announcer in Vicksburg when I was 17.
That was when WQBC - 1420 AM - was owned by "The Vicksburg Evening Post"(now "The Vicksburg Post")as opposed to it now appears to be "religious".
I'm not sure. WQMV was owned at the time by the Underwood family. This was in 1977. I seem to remember 2 AM stations in Vicksburg then. But I can't remember the other, besides WQBC.
So then I guess you can see what's going on thru the glass during those "long songs" that DJ's love to play!?!?!?
WQMV didn't have any windows to the outside. I didn't think I ever told that story.
